Chapter 15

Reyna-

We spent two days moving through the desert. It turned out to be more difficult than either of us imagined. It wasn’t so much the monsters we fought. The heat was almost too much to deal with. Every so often I had to log out just because I thought I was dying.

I felt bad that Luka had to endure it, but he didn’t complain about it. It almost seemed as if it didn’t bother him at all. I suppose being a werewolf, their body temperature was already high, which meant that they weren’t nearly as affected by temperature changes.

I simply just couldn’t handle it. As much as I tried not to complain about the heat or how it felt like I was on fire, I couldn’t stop myself. Thankfully, Luka didn’t seem to care, and he did his best to help me. We did most of our traveling at night when it wasn’t as hot.

When I logged out, Luka would transport to our home, which I have yet to return to yet. I have been focused on getting through the levels. When we were done with the desert, I planned to see
