I debated for a while whether I should stay or go. There was still a huge part of me that didn’t want to see Luka right now. While the other part of me didn’t ever want to leave him. I was still terribly upset about everything, despite their reasons for doing what they did.

I blamed my brother as well, which is why I told him that if he contacted Luka, I would never speak to him again. He had argued with me about it for a long time, but in the end, he agreed. For the last few days, he and I talked about everything that had happened, as well as what that could mean for me.

The idea that I could potentially turn into a werewolf on the next full moon was terrifying. Kaige told me that he had been the one to talk Luka into marking me. That made me hate Luka a little less, but the fact that I might still become a werewolf wasn’t something I could overlook.

I just barely accepted the fact that werewolves were real and now I could be one. Kaige also explained to me that Luka had creat
