Monika knocked on Ashly and Alex's bedroom door before she popped her head into the room. "Good afternoon, siso," she greeted her sister with a smile on her face.

Ashly returned it with a scowl. "So, you're my babysitter for today?"

Monika didn't take this to heart, though, knowing Ashly's bad mood was only because of her hormones. Or because she was ordered on bed rest for the last few weeks of her pregnancy, which happened because she developed preeclampsia.
