“What do you mean you were talking about Ben?” Richard’s face grimaced with disapproval.

I knew he wouldn’t approve of me talking to another person about Ben. His expression said it all and now, I knew I had to put in a lot of effort to convince him.

He pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. “I thought we talked about this, B. You can’t go around telling everybody about what Ben has done without having enough evidence to back you up. Ben’s dad is second in command to my dad. He is also very powerful with probably all the best lawyers at his disposal. If this gets out, we might be dragged to court for accusing him falsely. My father will be very unhappy if that happens, and in state right now, the last thing I want is to make him unhappy…”

Mr. Sam also mentioned that. Now I saw the reason that bastard kept going scot-free for every terrible thing he had done. Because his father is powerful and always there to pick him from every mud and mess he gets hims
