Chapter 33

I fought the urge to break something, but there was nothing in my sight except for the woman who is my wife now. Though for most of the time I just want to snap her neck but it won't be very favourable for my public reputation.

I raked my hair for the sixth time in the last two minutes as I struggled to get the word out of me. But I guess, apologising is not made for me. It's a foreign concept to me. But her thanking me for saving her life had pushed me into guilt for over reacting on our engagement day.

A day before yesterday I met Alex and he told me about the situation he found Jennifer in that day or I might say that he blamed me for her condition and had threatened me to apologise for being an ass to her.

These were his words and although I care a damn about his threat, I just can't stop thinking about whatever he had said to me and here I am, finally trying to do the unimaginable. But her growing smirk is not helping the case at all.
