Chapter Ninety Eight

Roman's point of view:

"Did I tell you I don't know how to play chess?" I asked him as his men placed the board on the table and they set the players in their respective positions.

"No, you didn't." He said as he dismissed his men after they finished setting up the game.

"Well, I think I forgot to tell you that I don't know how to play the game. I don't know how to play the game." I told him.

He chuckled.

"Smartness, huh? No, I am not taking that." He said sternly.

"I am not playing, I just don't know how to play." I told him.

"So why didn't you tell me beforehand?" He asked me.

"I knew the meeting might be delayed or even canceled so I decided to tell you after the meeting." I explained to him.

"Wow! When you told me you should play the game after the meeting. I had two things in mind; first, that you don't know how to play it or you are just here strictly for the business. You can see that my instincts were right about you. Anyway, you will play it whether you like it or not." He sai
