“Did the little princess wake up?” I asked Richard entering the infirmary room where Crystal was now asleep. Nikolay’s arm was wrapped around my waist as he held me close to him, his body relaxed. I knew that despite him not liking Richard much, him knowing everything and understanding his proper intentions made my husband know what and who he was dealing with, which was something very important.

“Not yet, she’s supposed to regain conscious in a bit” Richard said looking at us. He nodded at the two of us and I smiled at him. Crystal’s body laid comfortably on the hospital bed where she was sleeping. There were two nurses in the room in case she needed any assistance. The doctor was to also check up on her every few hours to make sure that she was okay, Nikolay’s orders.

“You need to rest Richard. Crystal is safe now, but you need to sleep or at least eat something” Nikolay said looking at Richard
