Ninety-five

David dashed out of his room, and hurried downstairs. While he was rushing, he almost tripped and fell to the ground, but luckily, he held the stairs for support.

"Mum, Mum, Mum, where are you?" He asked, still marching to the living room.

Lydia was in the living room, dabbing her sprinkled ankle, when she heard her name.

"David Over here, what happened?" She called out to him.

David diverted his direction when he heard her voice, and walked into the living room. He passed the phone to her. Lydia looked at it, scoffed and passed it back.

"Is that why you want to fall down the house?"

Her question got David astound. He thought she was going to panic and quickly head to the family house, but it was the opposite.

"Is that what you have to say? I thought you both are good? You even invited him for dinner."

Lydia dropped the towel she was using to dab her ankle, and turned to David.

"If your uncle is missing, that doesn't affect us in any way, you should be happy he is out of the way."
