Twenty-nine

Jessie strides into the house, she strode to her father's study, but found no one. The house seems quite, which made her thinks there was no one in the house, and she panicked.

She was exhausted from school, and needed nothing right now, than to shower and have dinner.

"Why would mum go out, and leave the door open? I thought she said she won't be leaving the house today?" She asked no one in particular.

She strides to her room, and pushed the door open. Immediately the door was opened, she came into view with her mum, rummaging her wardrobe.

She froze at sight of her close to her wardrobe, and march into the room.

"Mum, why are you rummaging my clothes? Why are you even in my room? Don't you...." She was cut off when she saw the set of clothes on her bed. Beautiful expensive cloths worth fortunes.

Her mother turned to her with a smile etched on her face.

"Do you like them?" Mandy asked.
