Davino smiled as he touched the screen of his cellphone; he had just texted his wife.

—-Be prepared; I'll pick you up. —

"Are you pressed for time?" He gasped as he saw his father and half-brother standing in front of him, blocking his route.

He was about to leave the workplace when he realized his plans had to change.

He lifted his face and peered at Bryan's face for a minute, there was no cordial greeting or congratulation for his half-brother, he appeared quite cold and unfriendly. "What's the matter?" he inquired.

Bharat cracked a smile. "Let's have lunch together, then dinner, and you've decided to go home first. How about we go out to lunch and talk about it this time?"

Davino didn't blink; his eyes were straight and felt deep as he stared at his father's face. "I have other business," he said, declining his father's offer for lunch.

"Does it have anything to do with work?" Bharat inquired.

Was this some sort of satire? While rubbing the back of his neck, Davino rolled his eyes.
