I was so close to ripping Zavier’s head off for the words he spoke. Not just because he was bold enough to speak them but solely because I knew how much of a twisted prick he could be. He could be planning to sneak into the room she was in with the intention of ending her while she was unconscious. I couldn’t let that happen.

“I’m not going to lose her again.” I said to myself on my way back to the pack. I had two new missions in mind and they had to be done right away while the rest of my plan would wait until she was awake.

First, I needed to have her protected at all times then I would tell my Father about the heirloom.

I walked through the Palace gates with intentional steps that were ready to make a change in mine and my wife’s lives and headed for the throne room. I needed to see my Father as soon as possible but not as his son.

When I got the throne room, my Father was seated with a few council men. They seemed too busy and didn’t notice me on time.
