Natalia:

I stared at my parents who sat in front of Blake and I.

They forbade my siblings from approaching the living room, not wanting them to know that their older sister was there. It killed me to see that they didn’t want them around me, but I wasn’t going to complain about it now. I was going to be patient and I was going to wait for how things went before saying a word. My heart throbbed and despite having Blake by my side, I couldn’t help but feel weak as I felt my parents’ intense gaze on me.

“What are you doing here, Natalia?” Mum finally asked, breaking the awkward silence “you threw your harsh words the last time we saw one another, and you made sure to insult us as your family, what else do you want to say?”

“Why didn’t you tell me that you had to sacrifice yourself, a part of it at least, for my and mum’s sake?” I asked dad who kept his eyes on his lap. Blake wrapped his arm around me, pulling me to his chest to comfort me, assuring me that he was there for me. He moved

I don’t get a lot. I feel she should have got more answers from her grandfather. And I feel her father is hiding stuff. And I don’t understand her reasoning for them continuing to give her parents company shares and a monthly allowance. They are grown adults that aren’t ill.

Well her father could have talked to them. But i think he was hoping she would have died and left no one to take over from his father. Her father is worse than her grantfather. I have a feeling there is more to the story. Nathalie should talk to her dragon.
