After Margaret and Melanie had finished sparring, I approached them and asked if I could target practice with my magic, torturing the female rogue in the dungeon.

Despite Margaret's eyebrows, she says, "You sound quite confident, don’t you? We'll supervise. But yeah, yeah, you can torture away."

Our path led to the dungeons, where the vilest of smells met us. Why must dungeons smell like people dead and defecated behind? I nodded to Margaret and Melanie out of respect. They nodded to me as well, and we continued onward.

It didn't take long for us to reach Minerva, the rogue in the dungeon. Keeping a straight face, I sat down in a folding chair that was against a wall behind me while Margaret and Melanie stood at my side. I smirked at them as Margaret whipped up some popcorn and more comfortable chairs for them.

It was hard for me not to wonder what Minerva was doing. I was wondering why she cooperated with the rogues to kidnap those girls? Was it greed, fear of being hurt,
