Chapter 40- That damn acetaminophen

Azazel saw her sitting quietly and mum as if she was lost somewhere, peering into the wind. Maybe she liked this city, he thought. “Do you want to go to med school?” he asked with his gaze locked straight on the road, but she didn’t respond. How dare he ask her as if nothing happened, so again, the girl did not answer.

Azazel knew she had a penchant for medical sciences. He had caught her reading some medical magazines he had delivered to his house. Hearing no answer from her, he decided to let it be. She just got shot, and it might not be easy to come out of it. Not everyone is like him, who is used to shots and scars.

The more questions he asked, the more she didn’t answer him, making him furious. This ignorance of hers was pissing him off to Armageddon. He decided to let it be because more of this conversation would make him hurt her, which he didn’t want to do right now.
