Special Chapter: Secret of Atlantis

"Leona!" Donovan shouted, running out of breath as he finally caught meeting eyes with Jaiden as he leaned up against a streetlight pole. She figured this would be a good chance to ask him about the note, and if his little group wouldn't be coming after her anymore.

To her surprise, he walked over to her first, sipping his drink that he must've gotten from the local cafe.

"You walk?" Jaiden asked, and Leona slowly nodded.

Leona pulled out the note from her skirt's pocket and showed it to him. "What does this mean?" She asked, but Jaiden simply kept sipping on his drink, moving the straw around inside the cup.

"It's exactly what it says," Jaiden said, finally answering her after taking so many sips. "I took care of it."

"How?" Leona muttered, but instead of outright asking. she simply thanked him for forgiving her and helping her out.
