Ava's POV

The effect of his words sent a flood between my legs.

My heart raced aggressively, and my lungs suddenly felt dry. I swallowed hard, trying to catch my breath with no luck.

My body felt like anything but my own, and my first instincts were to pull myself on my toes, wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him shitless.

It was all I could think about as he stood before me.

The effect of his kiss still lingered on my lips. For a moment there, I could have sworn that he had knocked the life out of me, and until now, I was still gasping for breath. My body was heating up as well.
