Dusk fell over and I couldn’t remember the last time I felt so at peace. The air smelled fresh, like warm spring rain. Except there was no sign of rain at all.

"Here you are,"

Goosebumps rippled through my arms and neck hearing a deep, full of anger tone. I snivel my neck to see who.

"You spoiled my wedding." Ivan aggravated, his blue eyes blazing at me.

My heart stopped. I jumped on my feet and took several steps back in fear. Silence stretched on, as he kept his cold gaze on me. First Marcus and now Ivan, they're scaring me, reminding me that I'm his purchase in the auction.

He took his phone out of his pocket and dialed a number. He placed it against his ear. "I found her. On the terrace." Discounting, he shoved it back, giving me another cold glare.

A couple of beats passed. I heard footsteps ringing as they approached. I panicked. My eyes were glued to the door, heart pounding in my ears.
