Chapter 143: We’re here

Arya’s POV

My head was spinning and it wasn’t because I was dizzy, the whole show was giving me a headache. Earlier when he said his entire family would be eliminated I was shocked but I didn’t really believe until now!

He was right, I didn’t know much about the father of my child and that was truly crazy. Next I knew my frame was yanked closer to him while he held my wrist so tight as if fearing I would run away.

My brows were wrinkled at his actions and before I got a chance to express my displeasure he spoke with a voice dipped in agitation.

“The call is on speaker and Arya’s here. Are you really going to say no? All I’m asking is that you spare my wife and son! You can kill me and that’s alright-”

“No, I won’t let that happen, there must be another way to punish someone. Death isn’t the answer”

My words seemed to chill the atmosphere even more. Even the very air I was breathing reeked of awkwardness. As if things weren’t bad enough the man broke into a humorless laughing fit
