“I’ll have Sandra accompany you.” Gabriel was worried she would lose her way.

“Alright! ” Maureen did not refuse as she was not that familiar with this city.

As soon as Cynthia reached her office, she had to attend a meeting. In the meeting, the company owner stressed the importance of Angela’s commissioned jewelry piece. Cynthia was required to closely follow up on its progress and not neglect it.

Cynthia could only nod helplessly. Angela was well-known among the circle of wealthy ladies in the City. The boss’ meaning was that if everything went well with this, then there would be more opportunities for the company to work with the wealthy ladies of Angela's social circle.

When Cynthia was making her way back to her office, Linda walked over to her with a grim expression. “Cynthia, come with me to my office.”
