The rescue plan
Jace
Everyone is in the living room pacing about, even the heavily pregnant Alexa. There is no one settled at the moment. Amy has been gone for more than five ours, and my wolf has been very patient not to burst out and attack the Redclaw pack territory. I also want to run out of here but it would be equally useless to make an entrance without a clear plan.
"Damn it!" I curse under my breath.
"Calm down, Jace. We all know what you are going through right now. No wolf would settle down when their mate is in danger," Jordan says while patting on my shoulder. I am trying to calm down but it is very hard.
"Amy has been gone for hours now, and you expect me to calm down!" I don't want to shout but I can't help it. I know it is not their fault and they are trying very hard to help.
"I am so sorry. I am just worried about Amy. I have no idea how she is or if Dwayne has hurt her," I say while running my hands through my hair and tugging at the roots.

JaceI was damn surprised out of my mind seeing Amy being brought by the pack trainer. I thought she had already gone away from here. When Dwayne walked towards the pack trainer, I thought he had caught Amy and had brought her to him. I couldn't just watch Dwayne get back Amy so I had to stop him.
