“How come?” Inez was leaning on the kitchen table while her arms were crossed. A smirk lay on her face.

Mrs. Rose cleared her throat. “I have my benefit here. As far as I know, you gave up on trying to get revenge and now you are depressingly lying on your dad’s money to survive after he banned you from traveling.”

Inei furrowed her eyebrows. She was offended by that woman’s remarks but she could not underestimate someone who knew such confidential information. She was suspicious about them and now she needed to know the reason for visiting.

Inei signaled them to the dining hall while letting them sit. Mrs. Rose’s every movement made her suspicious. How come a maid suddenly came to her doorstep with a new light to her motive?
