There was only one good thing about wearing these large shades today. Being able to look at her, to watch her every move, without worrying about whether Edwin, Alessia, or Khloe would notice.

The moment we had stepped out of the car when we arrived on school grounds, Alpha immediately picked up her scent, my eyes immediately flashing to the spot where her scent came strongest, watching as she entered the school building.

My jaw clenched, watching her walk through the halls on her way to her first class until she disappeared from view. My mind was an unstable mess of ticks, unable to sit still or talk, just a constant pounding in my head until first periods were over and I was finally able to see her head to the cafeteria with her little human friend Ally, and probably would have stared at her there for the whole hour if it wasn't for the fact that Khloe suggested we go to the nearest restaurant and eat there.
