[The POV’S change twice in this chapter]
Kaya’s POV
I woke up the next day to a room that felt the same. As usual, a locked balcony and puffy hair, actually a little bit more messy than usual. I had my breakfast and showered before rushing out to meet Ally who had just arrived, her car parked right outside.
I jumped into the car excitedly watching her face, my voice full of hope, as I looked back at her wide-eyed, "So, did it work?” I asked, my fingers slightly shaking in anticipation, holding in a deep breath.
She paused for a second, holding my gaze before nodded with a chuckle doused in disbelief, taking off the glasses she was wearing, handing me her iPad, “I don’t know what to tell you other than, Azian does visit you," she replied playing the footage for me.
I watched the footage of the mini cameras she had placed all over my room yesterday. Everything was there, every single moment, from our
Kaya’s POV Where was I at the moment? Easy, glued to the car chair failing to move as I watched the popular four walk into school. We had arrived at roughly the same time but I told Ally that I was just not ready to face him yet and so we waited until they entered the school halls before we came out of the car. "So are you going to tell him now?" Ally asked seemingly excited as she locked the car behind us. I grabbed the iPad harder, "uhmm, maybe not at school," I muttered already feeling eyes on me. People would not let me live my little incident down. "Uh, okay…” Ally dragged turning to face me, "so you'll talk to him after school? And if so how? Those people usually leave at the sound of the bell, unless you know where he lives?" she asked, his eyes watching me sarcastically. "No, but maybe tonight when he comes over,” I replied with a small voice, I could feel the sweat at the back of my hands. data-p-id=8f21838639c6
Azians POV“Khloe and I will get some drinks,” Alessia announced but I barely heard her at all, trying my best to be as subtle as possible as I stared at her from the corner of my eye, images of last night, holding her in my arms, made my body ache to be close to her.Her back was facing me which made Alpha and Omega grumble but I on the other hand was thankful she couldn't see my poor attempt of hiding my growing attraction for her. I swear it was like torture being this close to her and yet not being able to be with her.I ached to be near her and I was slowly praying for the sun to set again so she and I could be together.I felt a tap on my back and quickly turned to see both Khloe and Ally preparing to leave, Khloe, squeezing my shoulder to which Alpha growled in annoyance knowing that it was Khloe that touched us.It was now extremely hard to ignore that Alpha despised our mate, but strange as it was, I couldn’
"This is it," Abigail announced as they hopped out of the car. She surveyed her area looking up at the mansion of a house that loomed over her, somehow- this did scream ‘Khloe’ all over it, and even without checking the aura, it seemed obvious to her this was her house."Dang, this house is nice," Ena muttered, getting out of the car, turning back momentarily to look at the other witches, "are you guys coming or what?"Mariah and Anna switched looks still dumbfounded at all they had been told on their way here. It wasn't something they had expected to hear at all and Abigail and Ena acted like they had not just told them something of vital importance. Something about love potions doused in soul magic. Heck, they went even over the fact that somehow Azian might be under a spell and sweet innocent Khloe might be the Villain all along."Well?" Abigail asked lifting one eyebrow up at them. With a deep sigh and a low mutter from Mariah, they both c
The moment Stephania arrived at home she knew something was wrong. The smell of magic hung strong in the air, not the type of magic she did, it was way nastier, White magic. It couldn't have been Khloe. Khloe couldn't do a spell to save her life. She moved toward the stairs freezing suddenly, glancing at her portrait, the one she was so very proud of. She squinted her eyes taking a few steps back walking toward the painting. She reached out to touch it but stopped midair, her eyes widening. She could sense the revealing spell that was done to it, he heart beating harshly inside her. She could tell what that type of power was from anywhere. The Magic of a protector. She could feel her heart beginning to beat grow faster and faster-How? How could Abigail know where she was? Why was the mother witch in her house? Had she seen anything? She glanced at the painting again, of course, she had. A protector could
Kaya’s POVI was stuck, frozen in one position. My hands shaking, w-what just happened? My heart was beating fast and I could hear people groaning talking about the mini earthquake that just had happened.I felt my fingers quake as I pulled my bag walking out of the library like a robot failing to process what happened, along with all the other students who did not want to be in the building after the earthquake. We will talk about this later tonight.Did he just agree? He did, he really did. He agreed it all in that one second, everything that we ever did was real, and those eyes that swirled with different elements were real. I already knew all this but why did I still feel so shocked at his confirmation? Why was my body shaking and my heart beating like it was running a marathon, why was I losing my breath and feeling as if I was falling apart?I tried to take in short breaths to stop my panic. I wanted to talk to someone, n
Kaya’s POV His eyes dissolved into pitch black, the type of darkness, not even midnight could compete with and I froze to my spot, taking a step back- feeling like my soul had left my body. He reached out and took out the knife from inside him and I gasped as the men around took a step back out of shock. Then he began to grow, and change, and transform, towering over us in a matter of seconds and I could feel my heart refuse to beat as he turned into a beast, one I had never seen before, his hands into literal claws and his once soft groans turned into growls, his sharp teeth mirrored only one thing- Death. I watched the scene unfold before me like a robot stuck on reboot, like I was watching a mere black and white flashback in a movie, as blood was spilled everywhere, some splashing on my clothes and face. I could hear the men's yells for mercy, as tears freely rolled down my face, glancing down at the sight of cigarette goon's head rolling d
Kaya’s POV I stared at the boy on my bed for a moment. Legion was breathing heavily into my sheets, his head buried into my pillow almost unconscious if it wasn’t for his frequent hisses of pain, whilst at the moment, my aunt was officially freaking out. She bit her shaking fingernails gasping as she hugged herself tightly, turning to me quite uncertainly, "s-should we call the doctor? O-or police?" She asked, glancing from me to Ally who returned the gaze with clueless expressions. I was uncertain too, staring at the blood that stained my clothing, before glancing at Ally who was still looking wide-eyed at Legion. "I-I'm calling the doctor," my aunt finally settled the issue turning around taking out her phone. She was still visibly shaking and I couldn't blame her as she tried in vain to switch on her phone and steady her hands. Legion suddenly let out an inhuman growl which made Aunt Lily drop her phone taking a rushed step back, eyes on Le
KAYA'S POV He stopped at that moment looking up at me, his fingers brushed my hair out of the way, his body a hairs breath away from mine, his eyes glazed over darkly, "you are, you're mine". I couldn't hold in the supposed breath that escaped as I looked down at him unable to believe all this. “Do you know what the word means Kaya?” he asked softly his eyes focused on me, "not mate. Estheraï, estheraï" he repeated, whispering it against my ear as he held me close to him. The word he always called me. It was beautiful the way it rolled off his tongue, I had always wondered what it had meant. He took my silence for a no, "it cannot be defined, and it’s a word whose meaning can only be spoken in phrases and not in one sentence.” He breathed as I turned to face him, our faces inches apart, as he moved closer with each phrase, “Another half, a whole world, the essence of my existence, beautifully bewitching. Mine," he pulled me in
