Chapter Twenty-Two: Suspicious

I was in the kitchen with Magnus and Alas and were cooking for our lunch. They also cook porridge for Freeda and Enzo who was sick. I prepared a bowl to serve food for Freeda upstairs. "I'll just deliver food to Freeda first while you deliver to Enzo," I told Alas and he looked at me like he doesn't like it.

"Umm...I should be the one to give her food upstairs, just sit and eat here Cassius," he replied and I shook my head. ''No, I'll do it,'' I repeated then smirked.

"Are you two going to fight over who will deliver the food? Bring the food to Enzo first," we heard Magnus dictate while washing the plates.

Alas was no longer stubborn so he just kept quiet and prepared food for Enzo. I also took a tray and put the bowl there and the porridge was still hot. I slowly walk upstairs and when I got to the front of Freeda's room I noticed that the door was slightly open.

I peeked a little and was a little surprised to se
