Ashley's POV

I was beginning to stir awake when a faint voice broke into my head. It was calling my name faintly.

At first I thought it was Natasha, so I opened my eyes. She had woken up and she was sitting up staring into my eyes.

"Did you call me just now? Are you in pain again?" I muttered.

Nodding her head, she smiled at me and in the next second, she was hugging me tightly. I was shocked.

She always flinched anytime I tried to hold her and here she is, hugging me tightly.

"Thank you for helping me yesterday, you eased my pain," she said with her eyes glowing

"Anything for you," I said and hugged her back. I felt her heartbeat and she felt mine. I wanted her but I wanted it to be mutual. So I am still waiting for her.

She lifted her head from my shoulder and I felt empty. She was warming up to me and that was cool.

Her arms remained around my neck and I looked curiously at her. She hoisted her face closer and my eyes shone wide as she kissed me.
