Chapter 156

Ashley's POV

Outside the palace, I was dropped in a cart and carted away. With my hands and legs tied, I could not do much but I still tried to escape. This made the cart man stop at intervals along the way. And when he couldn't take it anymore, he unsealed my lips, forced a sore drink down my throat and sealed up my mouth again.

I began to feel dizzy and I fell asleep.

When I woke up, I was in a brightly lit room. The tape sealing my mouth had been removed. Although my hands were untied, my legs were still bound and I couldn't move around.
