Chapter Twenty Five

XAVIER’S POV.

I frowned as she gasped with a guilty look. How could she forget about Chelsea, I know what I passed through when she didn’t see her this morning or yesterday. Chelsea cried throughout the whole night and this morning, thinking her Nanny left her like her mother did. I haven’t seen my daughter cry over anything before, not even me, but she cried because she didn’t see Alyssa.

I glared at her and said. “I will take your silence as a no.” I was upset, Chelsea refused to take her breakfast because she didn’t see her Nanny, but after coaxing and petting her she reluctantly ate her breakfast but refused to take her bath. She was waiting for her Nanny. The same Nanny who didn’t care to check up on her, I know we went to a party and came back late but couldn’t she call and talk to her.

“I…I’m so sorry, sir, I …. I totally forgot, but I will go pick her from school.” I arched my brows, school, on a Saturday. What’s wrong with her today?
