Zara's p.o.v

I packed my things in a sack bag and carried it, slowly sneaking out of my room.

It was very late at night and half of the village was already asleep.

My father was fast asleep with my mother due to heavy drinking of wine.

I took it upon myself to praise them and make them feel so good that my father had to order one of the villagers to serve him and my mother his best wine.

While we all laughed and chatted away, I poured wine in their cups whenever they were empty, so they could drink more. In just a few hours, they were already passed out.

I came out of the house cautiously looking around while walking to the entrance of the village.

Once I had crossed it, I smiled then rushed ahead to a nearby stream where the hero had asked me to meet him.

Ever since that day we talked, we only met once to discuss where we were going to meet and what to carry.
