Chapter 96

Zara's p.o.v

"Is it still okay for me to spend a night here?" I asked Victor seriously.

He looked at me and then nodded.

Ever since Iris locked the door, I couldn't go in or open it, that's why I went back to the demon fairies and asked them to take me in for a day or two. At first, they hesitated but later on gave in when Victor talked to them.

For the past few days, I dearly missed Iris and at night I did my best to train with Oni to keep my mind off of her.

I sighed loudly then leaned against the sofa.

"What's wrong with you?" Victor asked.

"Nothing," I answered without looking at him.

"It can't be, nothing when you have been sighing for quite some time now, this is the seventh time." He pointed out.

"I'm exhausted from night training." I lied.

"You can't be serious, you only began training recently." He said loudly.

I looked at him and then sat upright.

"I miss her," I answered in a low tone.

"You mean your witch lover?" He asked.

"Yes," I answered sadly.

"I'm sure she does too."
