Kiya rushed her call quickly as she was disturbed by a sudden noise. She assumed it was coming from her dad's study room. She threw her mobile on the bed and ran towards the room. A deep gasp left her sullen throat when her eyes fell on her father, who was laying on the floor lifelessly among the shattered things.

"DAD!", she screamed terribly rushing towards him. She knelt down beside him and shook his shoulder.

"Dad, what happened?", she started panicking when she didn't get any response from him.

She tapped his cheeks and checked his heart beat holding her breath. Her hands were shivering with the worst possibilities running in her brain. But she let out a relief sigh when she heard his thudding heart beat. His pulse also working normally but skin was turning cold.

She called out servants and managed to call their family doctor.
