"Don't tell her that he is in the police station, she can't take it."

"What about him, he is in the hospital. She will definitely ask about both of them."

I could hear someone's conversation and I wanted to react but I couldn't. My whole body was aching and feeling heavy as if tons of weight were placed on top of me.

I couldn't figure out what they were talking about, my brain was all numb to register anything.

I heard Michael's ringing in my ears and my heart started beating fastly. My throat was burning, I wanted to call him. My hands moulded into fists as I struggled to open my eyes.
