Chapter 28

Dani woke up in a happy mood, she hurriedly got ready even though she still had enough time before she had to be at the hospital. She wore a pretty flowery top and a mini jean skirt but later changed her mind and went with a pair of boyfriend jeans. She did a light makeup and left the house after making sure she looked okay, she drove to Keira’s house and waited for her to get ready. To beat the morning traffic, they left the house at seven-thirty even though her appointment was by ten am. They stopped at a bed and breakfast and ate a light breakfast.

“My ex-boss came to my house last night,”

“What? How did he know where you live? I thought you said he had no idea, what did he want?”
