SMILING DARKNESS

"Any news from Dre and Zan?" A feminine voice echoed in a room of extreme darkness. A young man stood in the centre with his head lowered to the floor. The moonlight seeped into the room through the wrecked iron window. His side face could be seen as well as the sweat dripping from his forehead. His heart thudded greatly, because of his inability to give a pleasing answer to the question directed to him. He hesitated before raising his head to the darkness In front of him.

"It's been weeks and we have not heard from them"

"That means they failed... Failed their mission to capture Blaze." The voice came again and quite hoarse this time. The man abruptly lowered himself to the ground and his head resting on it. "Forgive me, mi lady. I have failed as well-" a dagger flew, past the man and thrust deep into the wooden door.

"Capture Blaze! I won't pardon this incompetence again"

The man hurriedly stood up, bowed and left the room in fear. The woman left her position and walked to the wind
