Chapter 32: Observation

The sun had made its way to a quarter of the sky. Only a few hours left until noon. The clouds only slightly covered the sun from casting its blazing heat onto the creatures below.

Beefaloes roamed the field, grazing on grass in their herd. A nearby river flowed gently from the mountain tops all the way down hill.

Suddenly, an arrow pierced the ground. As soon as a beefalo noticed it, it immediately made a run for it. Seeing their herd member running, the others soon followed behind without reason.

They all ran downhill in panic without thinking about anything else. In the distance beyond what the beasts could see, two small figures wiggled about on the ground. The two figures then pulled out a rope that was tied with  a stick on both ends and they stabbed it into the ground, creating a tripwire.
