( Eva’s POV )
It is almost afternoon as I am in the library since morning. It was weird that I have not seen Kane since I woke up. When I woke up I saw a note on the side table that he is going for some work in the Kingdome and won't be back for few hours. Then a maid came with my breakfast and said that Kane has told her to give it to me as soon as I wake up. I ate it and then another maid came with my clothes. I got ready and went to the ancient library.
I have been ready since hours now. I have told a maid to get my food here as I can't leave these books. I have already found out so much. Then I got a call and I picked up my phone, it was Kane.
“Did you have lunch?” he asked the first thing without even saying hello.
“I have asked a maid to bring it here, I can’t waste much time. We need to find a way to end all this as fast as we can.” I said and I heard a sigh.
