Chapter Seventeen

The first thing I see when I open my eyes is Drew softly moving his hands up and down my legs.

"Ah. I see you're awake."

"Hello to you too." I mutter and rub my eyes.

"If you are all set, should we go inside the library?" he asked me.

"Yeah. " I stretch my arms and open the car door. As I get outside, I feel blood rushing to my head, making me lose my balance.

"Ana?" Drew asks as he clutches my arm before I can slip. I hold my head in the other hand.

Drew asks, "Do you need to sit?"

"No. I think - I think I am alright." I mutter.

Drew gently massages my temples. "What was that suddenly?" I ask him.

"I don't know, Ana." He says, his voice filled with concern.

"Is this related to my power burst too?" I asked him.

"I don't think so. You already had one episode and you healed yourself so no extra strength should have been left to make you dizzy." He thinks for a while and says, "Have you eaten anything recently?"
