Aria's POV

"Please, no," Mama Sally pleaded with the other villagers. "Ria did nothing wrong; she saved George."

I can feel every stone thrown at me. It was excruciating, yet bearable. My human form tried to bear their wrath. Though painful, I still don't regret what I did. It was called for.

In an unexpected situation, I had exposed myself to save Papa George. If I didn't do that, he would probably be dead by now. And everyone's kindness toward me was abruptly destroyed. Prior to learning that I wasn't human, they used to accept me, but now they want me dead.

"Stop protecting that beast, Sally. Have you forgotten what her kind did to us? They are vicious and cruel. Now get out of the way and let us kill her," Mr. Chow said fiercely.
