CHAPTER 11

Ria hurried to the elevator. She just got to work and it was already 5 minutes past six. She knew she was late and prayed fervently for her boss not to be there yet.

There was only few people around the company because it was still early.

The elevator beeped showing it has reached her destination. Ria breathe in, took a look around the empty looby before finding her way to Damon's office.

Knocking slightly on the door, intending to find out if he was already in, Ria pushed the door open peeping into the office. When she was fully convinced he wasn't there, she heaved—stepping in fully.

Aha! Now that her cold hearted boss isn't there, she could as well as take her time to scrutinize the office.

Moving forward, Ria admired every piece of art adorning the walls. Her eyes giving each and every of them a good stare. She walked to the window and stared down. Woah!!! What a great view. She could almost see half of the city.
