"You know, I….I thought you won't honor my invite." I stuttered as I looked at the sky.

The night was more than calm. It was lovely as the night breeze touched our skin so gently.

"Why won't i??" She replied as she sipped the drink from the can. "I promised I would be here at the balcony and I always keep to my words." She muttered, looking away from where I was seated.

I stole glances at her and I could not deny that it was a love at first sight but then I was so overwhelmed by the mission that had brought me to the human world once again after years of being away.

My entire life must has been tossed about by the long time I had stayed in the underworld, living among humans. I could never think of settling with any of them. What if they had my cure and the moment I break free from the curse I become nothing but a blood bank for them.

I'm nothing but a weak human and I never belonged here. I know how things had gotten so bitter in my life. I had a de
