THIRTY EIGHT

Monday isn’t as bad as usual.

I got a text from Rosie saying she just woke up and will probably go back to bed since she got a three P.M shift. She responded to my invitation about meeting soon by informing she has a day off tomorrow. I shoot her an okay and will get back to her if we can hang out after my working time.

Bryan left early, saying he has to go back to his house since he left some documents there. I prepared some bacon and egg for breakfast. I sent Ayle a photo of the food, signaling her I left some for her.

“You seem in a good mood, Mr. Angelo.”

I snapped my head up towards the door, where Maggy stands. She has piles of documents on her hand.

“Good morning, Ma’am.” I smiled politely, “anything I can help you with?”

“No,” she shook her head, “just don’t forget to submit the reviewed articles today. We need it on Thursday.”
