KAMILA'S POV

I feel a painful tugging in my soul as I put the finishing touches on my blood-red nail polish, carefully filling out the edges with the liquid.

It hits hard and fast, ripping my heart out, shredding a part of me to pieces like shockwaves reverberating through my body.

Clutching my chest, I scream in agony, tumbling off my bed onto the hard floor, stunned.
