043 - Missing Evidence

Lola found her way to the backstage of the hall.

Her walk was slow and reluctant as she left the main auditorium. Though the number plate she held was very light to hold, it suddenly felt heavier than it was.

The quietness at the backstage where the rest of the twenty-nine girls sat was a sharp contrast to the noisy hall she had just vacated.

No one looked up to stare when she entered. Each girl was lost in her little world, probably revising their audition dance routine in their mind.

Lola found the last seat at the far end of the hall empty and sat down on it.

As she looked straight ahead, just a row away from hers, a familiar mass of pink hair turned back to wink at her and Lola’s distorted expression darkened even more.
