Chapter 146

After so much persuasion from Scott, Xavier had to cajole to his request and decided not to go after Lorenzo until they visited the hospital and get his wound treated.

He was convinced they will find them since the GPS is still installed in his wristwatch. Scott drove him to a nearby hospital, not far from where Alex was held hostage, before he was taken to the lawyer's apartment.

As soon as he parked, Xavier turned to his direction with a questioning look on his face, waiting for his response.

Scott obviously understood the look on his face, yet he ignored. "Let's get your wound treated first, don't give me that look." Scott responded, and stepped down from the car.

Xavier quickly step out, and barricade him. "Why are we here? This is where Lorenzo held him hostage at first, why bring me here?"

Xavier thought he should have driven them to the hospital in the city. That would have been easier to still follow them behind.
