CHAPTER 19
After almost an hour of an intense phone call, finally Aaron ended the call. His head felt so miserable. Miserable with work, and miserable with his relationship. He was about to finish Jeanne but this fucking call messed everything up.
Aaron took a deep breath before going into the room. Deep in his heart, he was still hoping that Jeanne will still be on the countertop but he also realized that it might not be happening because the call already swayed the mood.
He pushed the door slowly and saw the room was in dim light. His eyes caught Jeanne sleeping peacefully and comfortably on the bed. Aaron went to her. Aaron went to her and sat beside her while caressing her smooth, silky hair.

“Hey, man!” Greeted Baldhead who just arrived at the club while tapping Aaron's shoulder. The next day, officially the first day Jeanne went to the office. 'Maybe he will be late today,' whispered Jeanne as she glanced at the watch on her wrist. The watch showed 8.55 am. Another five minutes before the normal working hour started. Then, she arranged her steps to her desk, turned on the computer and settled down. She opened the report file and continued with the job. That moment, she was determined to finish the job that day as she was almost halfway done. 'Let's go,' cheered Jeanne to herself in her heart.
