“Well...?” Janet broke the silence and I saw that her gaze was fully pointed at me.

“What?”

“Are you just going to sit there as if you just didn’t do something wrong?”

Honestly, I don’t see anything wrong with what I said. Grace has something somewhere she is entitled to and I was trying to make her realise that it was not only possible but right to get it back.

“I am sure she needs some space,” I gruffly replied, my hand already reaching into my pocket before I recalled that Grace collected my phone earlier. Now would have been the best time to check in with Dave.
