After she had received the money from Mr Gordon in the morning, she sent some of the money to her mother and she felt so happy to hear that she was doing good.

Her mind was with Mr Gordon throughout the day and she couldn't process why he had to send such an amount of money to her. ‘Did he perhaps make a mistake, or did he send the money to her out of pity’?

Melanie sent a text to Archie to meet her at the company after school, and she waited by her car in the parking lot for his arrival.

Mr Gordon sent someone to deliver her car for her and she thanked her star for letting Mr Gordon remember that her car was still at his company.
