Chapter 20 He Knew Me

(Sebastian’s POV)

I felt her trembling hand holding mine. Before she let go of it, I held her hand back and whispered while looking at her pretty face. Seated closely next to her, my heart skipped a beat.

I was trying very hard to calm my breathing when I spoke my words, “Stay in the car. Call Westin. Send him our location. I’m going in”

“Sebastian, it is not safe” she said before I moved to exit the car leaving her behind.

Outside, I exhaled my breath sharply. It has been a while since a woman made me feel that nervous when I was around her. I needed to get her out of my head. Having a romantic relationship with my lawyer would definitely be a bad thing to do.

I then removed my gun from my pocket and moved quietly towards the warehouse.

The lock to the entrance door seemed broken. Someone had forced entry into the building. At the side of the building, I could see Ron’s superbike parked behind a large tree.
