Chapter 34 Our Little Short Moment

“Hello. You must be Samuel, right?” I asked and smiled at him. I tried so hard to control my emotion and not burst out in tears like a mad woman.

I could not bear to look at him lying down on the bed looking pale and weak. Did I cause this?

Was this sickness coming from me? I remembered myself being a weak girl when I was little. Struggled to survive in society who looked down on my weak and chubby looking body.

My parents had to bring me around to several hospital visits, finding ways to get me stronger. When my parents passed away, my uncle took me in to care for me. Knowing I was a weak kid, my aunt had bullied me. My cousin took advantage of my weakness and made me her personal slave.

They treated me like I was beneath them. Even their dogs were well taken care of and given a bigger room than mine. I was like a tortured soul being forced to smile when we met my grandfather.

They had threatened to hurt my grandfather if words got out that I was being bullied by them
