The next day, I had cleaned up well and fully charged to be at court.

It was thanks to Henry who had put some sense in my head. He had assured me everything was in place for me to exit my world of Akira West. That would be after I do the closing speech for Virtus Group’s defamation case.

Akira West would disappear for a couple of months on sabbatical leave and then Melina Cage would appear. Using our allies from Henry’s powerful contacts, I would then be ready to resume my old life as the lost heiress of Cage Industries. A once back then a billion dollars’ worth of company that was soon going to be bankrupt if I did not step in to save it.

My grandfather was recovering well. I had not seen him for several weeks. But we talked every day on the phone. At least after more than a decade, he did not hate to look at my face that resembled much of his dead son, my father.

He liked my new face. He said I looked like an angel in his dreams.

I smiled at that thought as I walked
