CHAPTER 34. NOT ENTITLED

Angelina was asleep when she suddenly coughed, not knowing what she was choking on. Feeling uncomfortable in her throat, Angelina woke up. She got up to get some water from the kitchen.

For a moment Angelina did not realise that Alex was not in her bed. But when she was about to close the door again, Angelina did not see Alex on her bed. But Angelina didn't worry about it, maybe Alex was going to the bathroom, she thought.

Descending the stairs, Angelina while continuing to rub her itchy throat and trying to hold back her cough so as not to make a disturbing sound.

Descending further, Angelina felt she heard a strange sound that was familiar to her ears since she had known the night world. Angelina slowed her footsteps while sharpening her hearing, finding out where the source of the sound she heard was.

The voice of a woman who was babbling incoherently and Alex's voice, which was occasionally heard holding back his sighs, made Angelina tremble.
